I've spent 15 years inside finance — from Big Four audit and private equity to building finance functions from scratch in two of the Netherlands' largest deep tech scale-ups.

At a private equity portfolio company, I led the financial restructuring that prepared it for sale. In deep tech, I joined start-ups at twenty people and left them at two hundred — growing on the plan I'd built, with minimal deviation between the model and reality.

Along the way, I've implemented ERP systems, hired and trained finance teams, negotiated transfer pricing, designed international tax structures, set up investor reporting, and run fundraising processes from Series A through Series B. I also secured the largest innovation credit loan in the history of the Netherlands — something only possible with a financial model that genuinely holds up.

My strength is helping founders translate an early-stage vision into a working financial model — and then building the operational finance function around it so the company can actually deliver on the plan.
